Dear Colleagues, we would like to announce our plan for one or two Special Issues in well recongized scientifc journals relevant to the topics of the STC-Dn group, for papers originally published in Procedia Manufacturing, as part of the CIRP Design 2025 conference proceedings. The title of the Special Issue(s) will be announced in due course.
In particular, the CIRP Design 2025 Scientific Committee will select high-quality papers published in Procedia Manufacturing, and their authors will be invited to expand their manuscripts, taking into consideration the following rules:
- The extended papers should differ significantly in both title and contents before they can be considered for publication.
- The extended papers must contain at least 70% original content.
- The authors will need to provide a copyright permission form for material (figures, tables and significant portions of text) used from the corresponding conference paper in composing the extended manuscript.
Important Note: More information about the submission process, the important dates for the Special Issue(s), as well as the journals will be communicated to the conference participants in due course.
